The weather's gorgeous and we're doing the last minute touches on Puppy-proofing the house- so enjoy a few snap shots taken while on watering patrol.
I mentioned blue berries a few posts ago, I'm positive, but here's evidence! The wild mountain strawberries are blooming (and thriving now that the chickens are not eating them up as fast as they can) and the raspberries, in addition to being painful and malicious, are ripening nicely. Mum has three barrels of blue berries, early, mid and late summer bloomers - so we'll see!
Fresh, home grown, heritage tomatoes- er blossoms! All of the tomato plants are flowering which means that tomatoes are not too far behind. Guess it's time to bolster these puppies some more.
Pink Dogwood- I think (I'll check with Mum)- is a lovely view outside the kitchen.
Aaand probably one of my favorite views on the property. The river is very low right now, but sounds beautiful!
Now if you excuse me, I'm going to be parked in this chair working on my Camp NaNo submission and enjoying the summer air.
